Memoirs of Home

A project in response to an exhibition titled ‘Home’.

This is the first body of work in my ‘Memoirs collection’; a project that will be a long standing exploration of memory, connection, and identity through photography.

Memoirs of Home was an interactive exhibition inviting viewers to step into the artwork and become part of its creation.

Each sealed letter contained a forgotten image of home. By choosing to connect with or reject these images, viewers breathed new life and meaning into lost memories. Every written word, reshaped line, or drawn emotion became an additional layer that enriched the work. Through the act of signing their name or stamping a thumbprint, each participant transformed into a co-creator, an artist contributing to the ongoing narrative of the piece.

I hoped that this process would allow visitors to engage with the exhibition’s themes in a tactile, personal way, offering a space for reflection and for forming new connections—both with others and within themselves.
